surely, the best way is to go to classes
learning a language is not only learning it's vocabulary using vocabulary books such as 504 and so on.
you must improve speaking, reading, writing and listening.
the only way to get all this skills is to participate in a good class, talking, listening writing and reading and doing home works

in my attitude, the most important thing is your goal,
if you want to learn english in order to get a higher grade in exams and understand essays u can improve your vocabulary
but if you want to understand a movie, write in english, speaking the language. it's different and needs more effort. the best way is to go to classes
